Bill Harbinson (middle) plays trumpet, keyboard and sings background vocals. He received his undergraduate degree in music education from Appalachian State University in Boone, N.C. He received his Masters of Music from the University of Alabama and his Doctorate of Theory and Composition from Florida State University. Bill has served as a clinician and judge throughout the Southeast. He is an accomplished arranger and a widely published composer. Bill arranges for the group and is presently Dean of Music at Appalachian State University. Bill has spent over 20 years in music education in North Carolina and is a charter member of "Gallery."
Sam (right) is presently Director of Music Ministries at Mount Pleasant United Methodist Church in Sherrills Ford, N.C. Sam retired from public school music in 2003 with 31 years of service. Sam now serves as a clinician and band adjudicator. He also works as a Student Teacher Supervisor for Appalachian State University. Sam is a charter member of "Gallery."
Richard Woods (left) plays sax and flute. Richard's
skills in improvisation are second to none. His ability to weave
complimentary lines around the melodies is truly hypnotic. Richard is
presently a vice-president and financial counselor for Mooresville Savings Bank
in Mooresville, N.C. Richard is a charter member of "Gallery."
